Some good news for a change.
The boil order which has been going on since November 28th has finally been lifted. It was lifted on December 5th, according to the Arkansas Health Department.
Community Water Update Issued
Community Water System confirmed a “main break” as the reason for a boil order in the area that was launched on November 28th.
A boil-water advisory is a public health directive issued by authorities when there’s a risk or confirmation that a community’s drinking water is contaminated by pathogens. It instructs consumers to boil water before use to ensure safety.
The locations affected most were East of Highway 92 from 5565 Greers Ferry Road to Silver Ridge near Drasco, Arkansas.
Thankfully, the boil order is now lifted so water should be safe to consume regularly.
