Pettigrew-Boston Volunteer Fire Department announced that on October 29, 2024, at around 5:34 PM, a significant fire in Pettigrew, Arkansas, threatened multiple structures. They were able to stop it. Photos below.
The fire department emphasized that a burn ban means no burning is allowed.
Large Fire Breaks Out In Arkansas
The Pettigrew-Boston Volunteer Fire Department issued an all-call, summoning every fire department in Madison County.
Firefighters from across the county responded promptly to tackle the blaze.
Special thanks were extended to all assisting Fire Departments, Madison County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), and Forestry for their crucial support.
The coordinated effort helped contain the fire, preventing further damage to the community.
