A car burst into flames near Huntsville, Arkansas!
At 0845am, both the Huntsville Fire Department (HFD) and Smyrna Fire Department (SFD) were dispatched to a car fire on Highway 412, east of Lew Thompson Trucking. You can see the photograph of the scene below.
Car Bursts Into Flames Near Huntsville Arkansas
SFD arrived first, with a 6-member crew deploying a hose line and working on-air to combat the blaze.
Upon arrival, HFD assisted by providing foam to SFD’s engine, which helps in absorbing heat and preventing further ignition.
HFD also employed their thermal imaging camera to detect and guide SFD personnel to remaining hot spots.
The fire was largely contained, highlighting the effective collaboration between the two fire departments.
