It happened at Noon on October 24th according to the North Little Rock Fire Department.
In a swift response to an emergency, the Lake Maumelle Fire Department and Arkansas State Park Rangers tackled a challenging rescue at Pinnacle Mountain. An injured hiker was reported at the summit, unable to be moved by traditional means due to the rugged terrain. You can watch the video below.
Emergency Helicopter Saves Hiker In Maumelle
A coordinated effort led to a call for aerial support. The Arkansas National Guard’s 77th Combat Aviation Brigade and members of Arkansas Task Force One’s Helicopter Rescue Team quickly stepped in.
Lieutenant Hunter Moix from the North Little Rock Fire Department was instrumental in the rescue, being lowered to secure the hiker. The seamless operation was supported by medical personnel from MEMS ensuring the hiker’s safety.
