According to reports, a southbound vehicle veered into oncoming traffic, hitting a northbound car.
The truck driver suffered minor injuries, treated at the scene, while the other driver was critically hurt.
Assistance from District 5, District 1, and Van Buren Fire Departments was crucial for the extrication.
An “Air Evac Lifeteam” evacuation helicopter was called in to help.
The injured driver was airlifted to Little Rock; thoughts for a speedy recovery are appreciated.
