, , Comments Off on Parents Outraged After Arkansas School Launched “Investigation” Without Telling Parents Why

It all started when the elementary school in Perryville sent out an email to parents.

The letter from the school stated: “In response to the recent concerns raised last week at the elementary school, we immediately followed established protocols to ensure a thorough and impactful review.” You can read the problematic letter below.

Community Worried Over The Letter

Disturbingly, no reason was given for why the investigation was launched in the first place.

According to one parent:

“Well this is the first I’ve heard about any of this and to say I’m angry is an understatement. I have kids there and if anything needs to be investigated we should be informed. I called the superintendents office and the school and no one will tell me anything. They are glad to schedule me a meeting”

Another stated:

“If they’re not willing to inform parents, I’m not willing to keep my kids there.”

The details of the issue have still not been revealed.

Below is the full letter that was sent out by the Perryville Superintendent below:

Good Morning Perryville Parents And Guardians,

Our top priority as a school district is the safety and well-being of our students. In response to the recent concerns raised last week at the elementary school, we immediately followed established protocols to ensure a thorough and impartial review. The matter was investigated by the state and an independent entity, which to date found no evidence to substantiate the claims.

At this time, the investigation is still ongoing. We understand that you may still have questions or concerns. If so, please do not hesitate to reach out to the district administration. We are more than happy to schedule a private meeting to address any matters you wish to discuss.

Thank you for your continued trust and support.
