A tragic death has been reported of a 22-year-old driver in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

According to Arkansas State Police report filed by investigating officer John Albright, a failure to yield by a driver has led to a 22-year-old driver’s death in Hot Springs, Arkansas. 

Young Driver Killed After Reportedly Failing To Yield

22-year-old driver Ryce Metcalf was driving a 2012 Honda when he attempted to cross an intersection.

The driver of the other car has not been identified.

The other driver failed to yield to Metcalf, causing the passenger rear of his car to collide with the front of the Metcalf’s car, killing him.

Here’s what we know:

  • Vehicle #1 (Other Driver): eastbound Drexel St, aiming to cut across Malvern Ave towards Nickels St.
  • Bryce Metcalf (V2): heading west along 270B/Malvern, approaching Nickels within the far right lane.

Next of kin of the deceased have been notified.
