Lacy Tutor, a student from West Side School in Greers Ferry, showcased her exceptional equestrian skills at the Arkansas State Championship Horse Show over Labor Day weekend. The event, organized by the Arkansas State Championship Horse Show Association since 1963, is a premier competition in the state, drawing approximately 1,500 entries annually.
The “State Show” serves as a grand finale to a summer filled with “Saturday Night Shows” hosted by 13 local associations, each featuring over 40 equine events. Tutor stood out among the competitors, earning impressive accolades in multiple categories. Her achievements include:
- Reserve Champion in Junior Poles
- 10th place in Junior Barrels
- 9th place in Youth Horsemanship
- 3rd place in 11-49 Walk Trot
- 7th place in Youth Western Pleasure
