The Searcy Police Department has clarified its stance on the use of golf carts on city streets, stating there’s no inherent opposition to their use. However, Lt. Todd Wells emphasized that reckless driving of these vehicles will not be tolerated.
Golf carts are legally permitted on Searcy’s city streets, according to Wells. Yet, the department has received complaints regarding their operation.
