Lt. Todd Wells of Searcy Police Department says a violent “note” was found at the school on Thursday. However, not enough evidence has been collected to make an arrest. It’s serious.
Local reporter Greg Geary tracked down the details.
Violent “Note” Found At Searcy School
According to Wells, their recent investigation started when it was reported “a note found at the school on Thursday, Sept. 12th, which threatened a school shooting the following Monday and everyone will die.”
Needless to say, an investigation was immediately launched.
We reported last week that Searcy Police were conducting an investigation. However, many details have remained unclear.
Now we know. This is not based on hearsay. There’s a note. And it’s a serious investigation.
