A disturbing detail was just included in the Mountain View Police Department’s latest press release.
The Police Department in Mountain View, Arkansas say they were called out to a local motel by someone claiming to be in a “bathtub of ice and blood.” It was later determined to be an unfounded call. Likely a hoax.
Mountain View Police Department Got Hoax Call About “Ice and Blood”
It all started when the Mountain View Police Department got a call from a male subject that claimed to be at a local hotel.
The subject claimed that he was in a “bathtub of ice and blood.”
Police reportedly visited the hotel in question and made contact with the residents. The call was found to be unfounded.
This is just another disturbing example of the types of hoaxes that police officers and emergency responders have to deal with on a daily basis.
Prank Calls To 911 Are Very Illegal
It is illegal in the state of Arkansas and many other states to make prank calls to 911 dispatchers. It can likely result in a Class A Misdemeanor conviction.
It’s important to remember that the 911 number is for emergencies only and tying up the line puts people’s lives at risk.
