Jamekio Williams, a 36-year-old resident of North Little Rock, was tragically killed in an accident on Interstate 30. Williams was a pedestrian working on a disabled Mazda when the incident occurred.
The accident involved two vehicles traveling east on I-30. The first vehicle, a 2009 Mazda, had broken down in the right lane, leading to the hazardous situation.
A 2017 Volvo, also heading east, failed to see the stationary Mazda and the pedestrian. The collision resulted in the fatal injury of Williams.
