The Old Independence Regional Museum will host its next exhibit, “A Time to Every Purpose: The Photographs of Laurence Charlton.” Join us to admire his stunning photographs displayed in the museum’s hallway. The grand opening is set for August 22nd at 5:30 p.m., with Dr. Charlton’s granddaughter speaking at 6 p.m. about his work as a photographer during FDR’s administration. The event is free, open to the public, and snacks will be provided. Additionally, the museum has a limited number of books related to Dr. Charlton’s photos available for $15.
