Former Governor Mike Huckabee just called out comedian Bill Maher for mocking Christians.
In a special appearance on Fox News, Mike Huckabee slammed Bill Maher for mocking Christians after the recent assassination attempt targeting Former President Donald Trump.
Mike Huckabee Responds To Mockery Of God
On his show recently, Bill Maher mocked Republicans for saying that God was behind Donald Trump surviving an assassination attemp:
“There’s nothing on earth, not even an assassination can’t be made just a little worse by adding religion… Republicans have been indulging in an orgy of magical thinking.”
He concluded that God is not behind such events:
“Enough is enough with interpreting every random event as a DM [direct message] from heaven.”
On Fox News, Huckabee gave his take on Bill’s mockery:
“I actually like Bill Maher. And sometimes he makes more sense than anyone on the entire political spectrum.”
He said that such mockery should be taken seriously:
“Bill should be very thoughtful about mocking God. It doesn’t have a good conclusion.”
Personally, Mike Huckabee said that he believes God intervened in the assassination attempt:
“I believe Satan took his best shot, but the angels of God said ‘not today, Satan.”
