Authorities in Sharp County are investigating a house fire that resulted in the deaths of two individuals.
According to Captain Josh Williams, the fire occurred around 3:30 p.m. on Friday on Crestview Drive in Ozark Acres. The victims have been identified as 86-year-old Virginia Corter and 79-year-old Carl Corter.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
