Arkansas agencies are on the lookout for burning vehicles.

According to NWA Online, a number of Arkansas agencies are investigating how often electric vehicles catch fire in Arkansas. So far, there have been 99 vehicles that have caught fire, but none of them were electric.

Electric Vehicle Fires Being Watched In Arkansas

Since April 2023, there have been a whopping 99 vehicles that have caught fire in the state of Arkansas. Thankfully, none of them appear to have been electric vehicles.

The investigations come amid concerns of electric cars catching fire in other parts of the nation. So far, the concern doesn’t appear to be happening in Arkansas.

The news comes as automotive industry leaders try to push for more electric cars across the nation.
