Miss Arkansas Winner Crowned From Wynne Arkansas

We have a new Miss Arkansas! Miss White River, Camille Cathey from Wynne, captured the crown in Little Rock on Saturday night at the Robinson Center. KARK-TV Channel 4’s DJ Williams conducted the first interview with Cathey, who is 23 years old and was last year’s runner-up.

Cathey will represent Arkansas at the next Miss America pageant. Her social impact initiative is “Proudly Volunteer.” She receives a $30,000 scholarship along with an additional $600 scholarship awarded to all contestants. This year’s runner-up is Miss University of Central Arkansas, Kennedy Holland.

The new Miss Teen Arkansas is 17-year-old Peyton Bolling from Rogers. Entering the pageant as Miss Dogwood, she was crowned on Friday night before a crowd of 1,800 people.

Bolling received a $10,500 scholarship from Pafford Medical Service and more than $25,000 in awards, wardrobe, and gifts. Additionally, she earned a full scholarship to Arkansas State University valued at $40,000 and a $20,000 scholarship to the University of Central Arkansas.

She will represent Arkansas at the Miss America Teen pageant in Orlando in the coming months and will make appearances promoting her platform, “Simple Acts of Citizenship.”
