Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders received the “Outdoor Recreation Leadership” award in Washington, D.C., on May 7th. She was proud to get this award for her work in improving outdoor activities in Arkansas.
Governor Sanders talked with Senator John Hickenlooper from Colorado and Governor Doug Burgum from North Dakota about outdoor fun and Arkansas’ progress.
They discussed projects like the Natural State Initiative, which aims to make Arkansas a top destination for outdoor enthusiasts.
Sanders mentioned that Arkansas offers year-round outdoor fun and can compete with states like North Dakota and Colorado in this area.
