Nearly 200 troops have been deployed to help with Arkansas recoveries.
According to Ozarks First, Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has deployed the National Guard to help with tornado recovery in Arkansas. They’re helping victims and families struggling after the disaster whether event.
Governor Deploys National Guard
A reported 186 Arkansas Army National Guardsmen from the 142nd Field Artillery Brigade will help traffic control in Rogers, Arkansas during debris pickup activities.
They will be there for at least 10 days.
They’re ensuring that everyone in the area is helped until safe power is restored to the area.
The news comes after officials report that the tornado that hit rogers was over 1 mile wide.
