Someone just tampered with Arkansas’ fiber optic line.
According to 4029TV, a telecommunications wire connecting Arkansas to Missouri was mysteriously cut. Law enforcement say the act was intentional.
Fiber Optic Line Cut
The Fort Smith police department issued a statement confirming that AT&T customers from Arkansas to Missouri noticed internet and telephone issues.
An investigation showed that a fiber optics cable was cut out and removed from Midland Boulevard at 7:30 in the morning. Officials are calling it theft.
Some people reported not being able to contact 911 responders due to the mysterious outage.
