Arkansas Residents Respond To New Federal Rule Targeting Gun Owners

, , Comments Off on Arkansas Residents Respond To New Federal Rule Targeting Gun Owners

Arkansas residents are not happy.

According to KARK, the Biden administration has announced a new crackdown on gun owners. Arkansas gun owners say it goes too far.

A Crackdown On Arkansas Gun Owners

On April 11th, 2024, the Biden administration unveiled a rule requiring any weapon sale in America to go through federal officials. A federal “license” will be required to sell your guns for a profit.

It doesn’t matter if you’re selling your gun at a gun show, on the internet, or to a business. You can’t get away from the feds anymore.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives will begin enforcing the new rule in just 30 days.

Needless to say, gun owners in Arkansas are not happy.

Rick’s Place Gunsmith owner and operator Rick Breshears says the new rule flies in defiance of the Constitution, possibly making the new rule illegal:

“That was one thing in the constitution, and it was right there on the top of the list, the second amendment, and that was put in there to keep tyranny from happening from the government.”

Rick repairs guns in Lonake, Arkansas. He’s worked on guns for decades.

Shady Wording Of The Law

A strange new detail of this law is that it does not clearly define how many gun sales are too many for the seller to be labeled a gun seller.

There are no set numbers of guns you can sell per year without needing to get a license. This needless muddiness of the law could be used to target innocent citizens. The lack of clarity might be intentional.

Sudden Death In Little Rock Linked

Bryan Malinowsky, 53, was the director of the Little Rock Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport when he was shot dead in his own home.

The invasion of his home was by authorities investigating him for obscure alleged “crimes” involving selling guns.

Authorities showed up at his home at 6am in the morning. One has to wonder why they chose to raid his home at such a strangely early hour.

It’s a definite concern that Biden’s new law could lead to more such senseless harm.
