This is nuts. Literally!

According to a new report from KARK, Cashew nuts sold at Trader Joe’s in Arkansas have been recalled over possible contamination. Eating the nuts could make you very sick.

Recall Issued Over Nuts

The Cashew nuts are sold as “50% Less Sodium Roasted & Salted Whole Cashews.” They were sold by Trader Joe’s in 16 states, including Arkansas.

Lot numbers T12139, T12140, T12141 and T12142 are reportedly effected. Do not eat them.

Salmonella is a bacterium that occurs mainly in the intestine is a cause of food poisoning.

It’s important to remember that there have been outbreaks of Salmonella before. In 2022, Jif peanut butter reportedly made consumers very sick.
