It was a chaotic scene in Fairfield Bay, Arkansas on February 28th, 2025.
Two homes burned to the ground on Meadow Lane in Fairfield Bay. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. However, firefighters on the scene say the structures went up quickly. A photograph below shows the intense flames.
Thankfully, firefighters were able to stop the intense fire before it spread to a nearby 3rd building.
Two Houses Burn To The Ground
One of the homes was used as a vacation home and was unoccupied. A family lived in the other.
Although all residents were able to escape safely, one family’s pet bird reportedly perished.
Two vehicles were lost as well.
During the fire, propane tanks and vehicles exploded in the heat of the flames.
