A devastating accident in Fort Smith, Arkansas has left a minor dead.

Minor Dies At Intersection In Fort Smith
A tragic accident has occurred at the intersection of N. 44th Street and Kelley Highway in Fort Smith, Arkansas at approximately 5:04 PM on October 11, 2024.
A car, heading north, was stopped at the intersection when a pedestrian attempted to cross in front of it.
As the vehicle commenced a right turn, the driver failed to notice the pedestrian, leading to a fatal accident.
The pedestrian was hit by the car and pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are investigating the incident to determine if any charges will be filed.
