A huge success on June 14th in Fairfield Bay.
The Fairfield Bay Community Club hosted its annual “Surf The Bay” event at the Fairfield Bay Marina. Photographs show the parking lot was packed as a huge crowd attended. You can view the photographs below.
What Is “Surf The Bay,” Anyway?
According to the Community Club website, Surf the Bay is an event promoting water fun:
“Surf the Bay is a day all about water. This free event will feature wakesurfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, and family-fun water slides, so no matter your age or skill level, we encourage you to grab a board and join in the fun!”
Despite initial concerns about the weather, the event had a large turnout. City Council member Bella Comas released photographs of the event online, highlighting the good turnout:
