The incident happened on  Thursday, June 5th, 2025. However, authorities only recently announced the heroic response.

The Fayetteville Fire Department (FFD) responded to a vehicle fire at the 400 block of W. Mountain Street. The blaze was extinguished quickly, with no injuries reported. You can view photographs of the scene below.

No property damage estimates have been released. The FFD praised the rapid response of the team.
