According to KTVE, Arkansas State Police are warning of a new gun carry scam that’s targeting Arkansas residents. Scammers are sending text messages saying a “Concealed Handgun Carry License” must be renewed before attempting to steal your money.

If you get a text message saying your “Concealed Handgun Carry License” must be renewed, don’t click it!
If you do, you will probably get scammed out of money. The new scam involves text messaging Arkansas residents trying to get you to give them money.
