Over the weekend, a tragic accident in Sharp County resulted in the loss of Samuel Break, a 54-year-old from Iowa City, Iowa. The Arkansas State Police reported that the crash occurred near Hardy on State Highway 175 North and Private Drive 244 around 5 PM. Break, riding his Suzuki VZ800 motorcycle northbound on State Highway 175, collided with a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado turning into Private Drive 244.
Sadly, Samuel Break succumbed to his injuries at the scene, coming to rest in the southbound lane facing northbound. The highway reopened at 7 PM, according to Sharp County Sheriff Shane Russell. Reports indicated dry road conditions and clear weather during the incident.
