Former President Bill Clinton was among the speakers at Senator David Pryor’s funeral on Saturday. President Clinton remarked, “When you run the score up, there’s a lot of people who are better off because David Pryor lived. All of us who were along for the ride…we’re better off too, aren’t we?”
During the service, all three of Senator Pryor’s sons shared their thoughts. Mark, the former Arkansas Attorney General, reflected that his dad was almost the same in private one-on-one as he was in public. “Except he was better.”
The funeral highlighted Senator Pryor’s impact on both public and private life, leaving a legacy of positive influence and dedication to service.
