According to Axios, a new report shows that a whopping 95% of Arkansas’ 12,808 bridges are in good or fair condition. The news comes after the catastrophic bridge collapse in Baltimore caused citizens to be concerned about local bridge conditions in Arkansas. This means Arkansas is ranked near the top of all 50 U.S. states.
Arkansas Bridges Are Extremely Safe
In fact, the only bridges in Arkansas noted for their poor condition are sixteen bridges in Benton County and 31 in Washington County are in poor condition, according to ArDOT’s interactive map.
