Some big eclipse celebration events are coming to cities near you in Arkansas. Cities across the state will have events celebrating the big eclipse!

List of Events To Attend

Events to attend for the Moon Eclipse in 2024:

  1. Bald Knob: Eclipse viewing at Bald Knob Sports Complex on April 8th, gates open at 10 AM. Parking proceeds support Bald Knob VFW Post. $10 per vehicle, $30 for buses, event ends at 3 PM.
  2. Batesville: Lyon College Convocation Speaker Series presents physicist William S. Higgins on April 8th at 4 PM in Bevens Music Room, Brown Chapel. Free and open to the public.
  3. Beebe: “Fishin’ in the Dark” event at Beebe Community Pond on April 8th from 10 AM to 3 PM. Free event in partnership with Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s Community Fishing Program.
  4. Clinton: Center of totality for the eclipse on April 8th at 1:45 PM. Contact Clinton Chamber of Commerce for viewing opportunities.
  5. Fairfield Bay: Eggclipse grab n go diner serving breakfast from April 6th to 8th, 7-11 AM at Lion Club. Proceeds support Fairfield Bay Library.
  6. Heber Springs: Eclipse Fest at Spring Park from April 5th to 7th with vendors, music, and food trucks. Eclipse day picnic and parking at JFK Overlook for $20 per car.
  7. Maumelle: Blackout on the Boulevard Solar Eclipse Festival on Lake Willastein Drive from April 5th to 8th with carnival rides.
  8. Mountain View: Eclipse Parking and Music Fest with various performances and activities at Eclipse Park, 312 Brewer Ave.
  9. Newport: Various eclipse events including educational sessions, live feed from NASA, watch event with DJ and trivia, public viewing areas, and more. Visit ArkansasStateParks.com for details.
  10. Pangburn: Solar Eclipse Festival from April 5th to 8th with karaoke, tournaments, music performances, wrestling, and a viewing party.
  11. Searcy: Galaxy Fest at Searcy Event Center on April 8th, Sunday on the Square on April 7th, and Searcy County Quilt Show on April 5th-6th.
  12. Sharp County: Picnic at the Beach Festival in Williford on April 6th with free admission, live music, games, and food options.
