The Mountain View High School Band will host a special Community Appreciation – Send Off Concert on Wednesday, March 19 at 6:30 p.m. at the Ozark Folk Center State Park auditorium.

The free concert is open to the public and will serve as a tribute to the community’s support as the MVHS Band prepares to perform in Washington, D.C., on March 22.
The evening will feature a patriotic musical salute honoring veterans and celebrating American heritage. The Jazz Band will perform classics including The Star-Spangled Banner, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, America the Beautiful, and In the Mood.
The Concert Band program will include stirring selections such as Theme from “Patton”, Theme from “Saving Private Ryan”, Travelin’ Music (Arkansas Traveler), Armed Forces Salute, and The Stars and Stripes Forever.
Band members and directors invite the entire community to attend and show support before the group represents Mountain View on a national stage.
