MEET OUR ROBOTS at White River Medical Center – Hands-On Surgical Experience 3-19-2026

The public is invited to visit the Thoracic Oncology Mobile Experience (TOME) Truck, an 18-wheel, 80,000 pound mobile demonstration laboratory, set up in the lower parking lot at 1710 Harrison St., Batesville, to the right of Volunteer Way. The truck will be parked in the lot above the brick wall marked White River Medical Center.

The TOME Truck houses 2 advanced surgical technologies used locally to diagnose and treat lung cancer:

These robotic systems allow surgeons to perform minimally invasive procedures with enhanced precision, improved visualization, and advanced navigation inside the lungs.
Hospital officials say the event provides a hands-on opportunity for community members to see how robotic-assisted technology is transforming thoracic oncology and improving patient care right here in North Central Arkansas.
Attendees will have the opportunity to step inside the mobile lab, see demonstrations, and learn how these robotic systems support earlier detection and advanced treatment options for lung cancer patients.
