Margie’s Haven House Announces 4th Annual Fundraising Gala in Quitman Arkansas Aug 8th

A night of hope, healing, and community support is coming to Quitman as Margie’s Haven House prepares for its 4th Annual Fundraising Gala on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at The Barn at Fawn Hollow.

The event celebrates 37 years of service by Margie’s Haven House, a 24/7 nonprofit domestic violence shelter and advocacy program serving Cleburne County and surrounding areas.

Margie’s Haven House provides emergency shelter, safety planning, court advocacy, rapid re-housing support, and other critical services for survivors of domestic violence and their children.

Organizers say the gala will feature dinner, live music, a silent auction, raffle items, a wine pull, survivor stories, and community fellowship. Each guest will receive 2 complimentary drink tickets, with additional drinks available for purchase.

“As the only domestic violence shelter in Cleburne County, our work is local and deeply personal,” organizers shared. “When survivors and their children flee abuse, they often arrive with only a few belongings. Community support helps provide immediate safety and long-term stability.”

Several sponsorship levels are available for businesses and community members wishing to support the event, ranging from Friends of Margie’s Gala donations to Presenting Sponsors at $3,000.

Tickets are available for $50 each or 2 for $90. Reserved tables for groups of 8 are also available upon request.

Sponsorship commitments are encouraged by July 31, 2026, to ensure inclusion in printed materials and event promotions.
