April 27 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Promotion

In an age where online scams and digital threats are on the rise, the Beebe Church of Christ is stepping up to help the community stay informed and protected. The church is hosting a free event titled “Keeping Safe Online” on Sunday, April 27, 2025, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. at the Beebe City Hall community room, located at 321 N Elm St, Beebe, AR.

The event is open to the public and completely free of charge.

Robyn Nickleson, a computer systems technology professional from Harding University, will lead the session. Attendees will learn practical, easy-to-follow tips on how to recognize suspicious emails, protect personal information, and avoid falling victim to internet scams.

The goal of the workshop is to equip residents with the tools they need to better safeguard themselves — and their loved ones — from online threats. Light refreshments will be provided.

Organizers encourage anyone with questions about internet safety, especially seniors and families, to attend.

For more information, visit the Beebe Church of Christ Facebook page.
