Arkansas Students Urged to Apply for Transportation Scholarship Before April 1 Deadline

Students across the state are being reminded that the deadline to apply for the Advancing Careers in Transportation Scholarship is fast approaching on April 1.

The scholarship, offered through the Arkansas Community Foundation, supports students planning careers in Arkansas’s transportation industry, including highways and bridges, aviation, railways, waterways, and pipelines.

Eligible applicants include graduating high school seniors and current students enrolled in an Arkansas trade school, college, or university. Both full-time and part-time students may apply with a minimum 2.5 GPA.

Officials say the program supports a wide range of career paths, including engineering, business, finance, administration, and skilled trades.

Students can apply online at arcf.org/scholarships before the April 1 deadline.
