She’s under arrest.
Shannon Leigh Mason, a 46-year-old white female from Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, was arrested on March 14, 2025, at 6:25 p.m. She faces charges of forgery, according to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office.
Woman Arrested After Forged Check Found
The case began on May 23, 2024, when a man reported a fraudulent check cashed from his Bank of Salem account. The check, originally made out to Glencoe Junction, had been altered with Jason Roberson’s name added.
Fulton County Investigator interviewed Glencoe Junction’s district manager, Tiana Frazier. She confirmed Shannon Mason was the manager on duty when the check went missing.
Jason Roberson, interviewed by investigators, admitted Mason gave him the check to cash. He claimed she wrote his name on it, implicating her in the scheme.
On June 10, 2024, an affidavit of probable cause was sworn before a circuit judge. It detailed the evidence against Mason, leading to a warrant request.
The same day, Prosecuting Attorney Drew Smith submitted the finding of probable cause. The judge approved the arrest warrant, setting the stage for Mason’s arrest months later.
