Homefest in Bald Knob

May 9 - May 10

Promotion

The heart of Bald Knob will be beating with hometown pride next weekend as Homefest returns to downtown for two full days of celebration on May 9 and 10, 2025. Hosted by the Bald Knob Chamber of Commerce, this annual festival showcases the unique spirit of the region “where the Ozarks meet the Delta.”

The festivities begin Friday evening at 6:00 PM with a community-centered Gospel Night, featuring performances by local talents including Ethen Moore, Jett Butler, Landon Crawford, Audra Moore, New Beginnings, Rescued, and the After Hours Band. The evening opens with a welcome ceremony, national anthem, prayer, and the pledge of allegiance.

Saturday promises a full day of events starting at dawn with the Rotary Pancake Breakfast at the Methodist Church from 6:00 AM to 9:30 AM. The beloved Homefest Parade rolls through town at 10:00 AM, with floats and marching groups lining up at the school beginning at 9:15 AM.

Parade entries are still needed, and organizers are calling on schools, clubs, churches, and community members to get involved and show their hometown pride. There’s also still room for entries in the popular Car Show, and food truck vendors are encouraged to apply as well.

Following the parade, the community will gather for another patriotic opening ceremony, with the national anthem performed by Callie McGillvray. Entertainment continues throughout the day on stage with performances from Paetyn Ellis, Wyatt Wallace, and The Legendary Pacers, culminating in a headline show from the Aaron Owens Band at 8:00 PM.

Homefest isn’t just about music — it’s a family affair. Kids can enjoy the Kid’s Zone sponsored by the Bald Knob Fire Department, while pet lovers can show off their four-legged friends at the Dog Show. Other highlights include a strawberry eating contest, a cake auction, and a cornhole tournament on Market Street at 3:00 PM. Visitors can also enjoy a wide selection of local vendors, food trucks, handmade crafts, and classic cars.

“This event really brings the whole town together,” said a spokesperson from the Bald Knob Chamber. “It’s about celebrating our community, supporting local talent, and making memories that last.”

Those interested in entering the parade, car show, or bringing a food truck should contact the Bald Knob Chamber at 501-724-3140 for more information.
