According to Arkansas Democrat Gazette, A former Arkansas lieutenant governor pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated in Springdale District Court on Monday. The incident occurred in March.

He’s Guilty By His Own Admission

Mark Alan Darr, 50, of Johnson, was arrested by Springdale police around 6:45 p.m. at the time of the offense.

The case has attracted significant attention, given Darr’s previous position and public service record. Further details on sentencing and penalties are expected soon.
