Another report of a black bear sighting has emerged, this time near the Little Rock Air Force Base in Jacksonville.
The base posted on social media urging residents never to feed bears.
They advised securing food, garbage, and recycling, never leaving pet food outside, and checking yards before letting dogs out.
The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission stated that bear sightings in unusual places are expected during this time of year. If you spot a bear, contact the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.
This comes after our last report of a bear spotting near a busy Little Rock intersection.
