They’re cancelling a planned event at the Arkansas State Capitol over an infection!
According to KATV, the American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) Arkansas Girls State confirms that delegates will not be headed for the annual State Capitol visit on Thursday. They were told to cancel the event. The Department of Health gave the advice over health concerns.
Arkansas Capitol Meeting Cancelled Over Health Concerns
Arkansas Girls State will not be visiting the Arkansas State Capitol. Instead, delegates and their families are being asked to check for infection. The type of infection has not been specified.
“Families are encouraged to begin checking out delegates as soon as safely possible. Our staff and counselors will be onsite for assistance.”
