Water Contamination Reported
Scientists behind a group called Union of Concerned Scientists researched the impact Tyson Foods has on water supplies over 5 years (from 2018 to 2022). The findings are disturbing.
Lead researchers Dr. Stacy Woods and Dr. Omanjana say they found “runoff” caused by the follow forever chemicals:
- Oil.
- Cyanide.
- Chloride.
- Nitrogen.
- Phosphorous.
Even worse, the scientists suggest the chemical dumping has led to dead zones and potential health risks for residents near the dumping grounds.
