Scammers have been calling citizens across Arkansas impersonating law enforcement. At least 7 counties in Arkansas have been hit by the scammers and local police have issued warnings. You can view the list of confirmed locations targeted below.
All of the scammers call with the same agenda. They claim to represent law enforcement and say you face arrest if you don’t pay them, usually by phone.
Don’t be fooled. They are not law enforcement. They are trying to rob you. Always consult with local police before paying anyone by phone, especially if you don’t know them.
