A Bald Knob man has been killed while walking in a devastating accident.
Arkansas State Police report that on December 23, 2024, at approximately 6:23 PM, a fatal accident occurred on US Highway 167 in Bald Knob, White County. The pedestrian was allegedly run over while walking in the fog line of the highway.

David Neil Jones, a 60-year-old local resident, was fatally struck while walking.
The vehicle involved was a 2017 Buick Enclave, traveling northbound on the highway.
Jones was walking along the fog line when he was hit in the northbound lane.
The incident is under investigation by local authorities. No further details have been released regarding the cause of the accident at this time.
