A Maumelle woman has been charged with evidence tampering after allegedly endangering a child while using drugs.
And yet, she was only slapped with a $2,500 bail.
Elizabeth Ann Ortega, a 35-year-old woman from Maumelle, Arkansas, was arrested on December 11, 2024, at 5:49 PM. You can view her photograph below provided by Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office.
Maumelle Woman Accused Of Evidence Tampering And Child Endangerment
She faces charges including two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Minor in the 3rd Degree and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
Additional charges include Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule I, II, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Her bond has been set at $2,500.
Ortega is scheduled to appear in court on February 24, 2025, at 9:30 AM.
