A rescue operation in Arkansas led to a tragic ending.
Boone County, Arkansas’s Government announced the tragic end on social media after a rescue operation for a missing person. Sadly, the person has apparently died from drowning. The victim’s name has finally been released.
Rescue Operation Leads To Drowning Discovery In Arkansas
A local news outlet confirmed that the Boone County Sheriff Roy Martin has reported that a search for a missing person this week ended with the recovery of the man deceased.
Although the local government would not identify the victim, the person was later identified as 47 year-old Jacob Wayne Stephens of Alpena.
A search and recovery operation for Jacob Wayne Stephens in the Long Creek area of Alpena involved multiple agencies including Alpena Fire and Rescue, Batavia Fire and Rescue, Harrison Fire Department, and various law enforcement and emergency services from Boone County.
