It’s part of an effort to reduce prescription drug abuses by driving down the supply.
The Jacksonville Police Department has announced a drop-off location where you can dispose of any prescription drugs you may have. Drug Takeback Day will be held on October 26th at the Jacksonville Police Department headquarters.
Jacksonville Police Announces Anonymous “Drop-Off” Location
On Saturday, October 26th, officers will be stationed in front of the lobby of Jacksonville Police Department.
They will be stationed there between 10:00AM and 2:00pm.
They have ensured that “Drop-off is completely anonymous, and no questions will be asked.”
You can return medications. They can even return the original pill bottles to increase your privacy.
You can give them unwanted prescriptions, over the county meds, vitamins, and or other nutritional supplements.
