Officials at Camp Robinson recently issued a “noise alert” to keep the public safe.
Officials at Camp Robison in Jacksonville, Arkansas confirmed they found an “unexploded ordinance” on the site. A disposal team was called in to carefully deal with the issue.
The news was shared by the Jacksonville Police Department as well.
“Noise Alert” Issued For Local Residents
According to Camp Robinson’s official Facebook page on Monday:
“We found an unexploded ordnance on one of our ranges. An explosive ordnance disposal team is expected to render it safe with the next hour.”
The news came after Camp Robinson conducted training just 4 days ago.
Scheduled training was conducted Friday, September 20, 2024. That’s potentially when the “unexploded” device appeared.
