A Jonesboro man, 43-year-old Chad Rampley, has been charged with his sixth DWI after being stopped by police on Saturday while driving with his torso out the window and without a seatbelt. Rampley, who was shirtless and barefoot, claimed he was headed to a gas station to meet a friend and admitted to having had two shots before the incident. During his probable cause hearing on Monday before Judge Boling, it was noted that this was Rampley’s sixth DWI since 2008, potentially leading to a felony charge. He was given a $50,000 cash/surety bond and must wear a BAC ankle monitor, with any alcohol consumption potentially resulting in bond revocation.
