Arkansas’ U.S. Senator Tom Cotton is being called “blood-thirsty” for demanding arrests of violent protestors.

Arkansas Times ran an editorial declaring that Senator Tom Cotton is “blood-thirsty” for saying disruptive protestors should be arrested “if campus police can’t do it.” The editorial even claimed Cotton is “going to get someone killed” by calling for law enforcement.

Arkansas Times Contributing Editor Calls Law Enforcement “Death And Destruction”

It all started when U.S. Senator Tom Cotton called for police to take action against disruptive protestors at college campuses. Senator Cotton wrote on Twitter:

“If the campus police can’t do it, the schools should bring in local police.”

Senator Cotton said he wants to take action against antisemitism:

“Allowing deeply troubled antisemites to take over campuses and threaten Jewish students is unacceptable.”

David Ramsey, a contributing editor for the Arkansas Times, shockingly claimed the U.S. Senator is a “robotic junior senator” with “teenage bloodlust” who is supposedly calling for “violence against American citizens.”

Ramsey even claimed in his editorial post:

“If you really want some death and destruction, you need to send in the cops or the troops.”

It’s hard to imagine that one of Arkansas’ top publications is willing to attack law enforcement like this. But alas, it’s happening.
